Lee Grant could soon be a Claret following news that Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday have agreed a fee for the 27 year old keeper.

The Official Burnley FC website have announced that a deal has been agreed for an undisclosed fee with Grant about to discuss personal terms at Turf Moor early this week.

Unless those talks break down, Lee Grant could once more be playing under Brian Laws the manager who signed him from Derby County for the Owls in July 2007.

It will also be a return to Turf Moor for the former England Under 21 International after a brief loan spell at the club in 2005. He was signed by Steve Cotterill on a one-month loan from Derby County in November 2005 as emergency cover for the suspended Brian Jensen and injured Danny Coyne. He made his debut for the Clarets and kept a clean sheet in the home game against Leicester City, a match we ended up winning 1-0 thanks to a John Spicer goal.
