Paul McVeigh is out of the contract in the Summer and many Norwich fans believe he has played his final match for the Canaries.

Vital Charlton FC believe, based on reports that he is interesting Charlton Athletic although to some extent this might depend on whether the struggling Premiership side survive relegation or not.

‘Addicks manager, Alan Pardew is wasting no time in strengthening the squad and is preparing for next season even though he is unsure what league they will be playing in.’ state the Vital Charlton site.

Charlton have also recently been linked with Southend star, Freddy Eastwood.

The Clarets have yet to see what McVeigh has to offer but if he is available on a free in the Summer and slots in well for the rest of this season, Steve Cotterill may well be tempted to sign the player on a permanent basis. If that is the case, it looks like we might be in competition with at least one club and will probably lose out if Charlton can avoid relegation.
