Anderson Heads To Doncaster

Defender Tom Anderson has left Burnley to join up with Doncaster Rovers on a loan deal until the end of the campaign.

Anderson had spent the first half of the year out at League Two level with Port Vale, but Burnley recalled him earlier this week and the 24 year old centre half will now step up to League One level with Doncaster.

Doncaster sit in 14th place in League One but Darren Ferguson’s side are without a win in the last six games.

His time at Port Vale saw him make 22 appearances for the club as he helped them move away from the drop zone and in previous years he has spent time out with Chesterfield and Carlisle United.
