It’s being suggested this afternoon that Scott Arfield could be a target for Brighton, Crystal Palace and West Ham United this January window.

Within the last hour Sky Sports have reported that the 29 year old is a possible target for all three named clubs according to their ‘sources’.

He does only have six months remaining on his current deal and would be available for free over the summer, but Sky report we have offered him a new deal but as yet the Canadian international hasn’t put pen to paper so may be looking at his options.

They do however say that neither of the clubs have made a formal offer of interest yet.

West Ham may make more sense and David Moyes tried to sign him previously whilst he was at Sunderland.

Nice not to be a selling club. But in todays market who knows? £50 mill might tempt us. Realistically, the more successful we are the more interest we will attract. I am sure SD will do the right thing. Come on you Clarets.

Hope Scotty stays for another year great lad for Burnley.
He has played well for us since coming in for Brady.
I understand he has been offered an extension, but my guess its only for a year.
Brighton or West Ham may offer 2+ years, which sadly I would understand if he chose to go.
