Manager Sean Dyche has given his thoughts following Burnley’s return to winning ways in today’s game against Charlton Athletic.
With Burnley’s current run of form well known – two losses in twelve or no wins in six – a brace from Scott Arfield before Andre Gray and Sam Vokes completed the scoring in the four nil victory, was definitely well received by the gaffer and long overdue.
However, singing from the same hymnsheet as he has done of late, Dyche explained that whilst a win and such a comprehensive one was pleasing, he reiterated he hadn’t been concerned or unhappy with the recent run of results, and he had been pleased with the performances of the side so he was confident it was only going to be a matter of time before things clicked in the final third of the pitch.
