Burnley colleagues Scott Arfield and Chris Wood could potentially face off against each other during the international break in the Canada and New Zealand friendly.
Arfield is back with the Canadian side for the game in Spain on Saturday March 24, and Wood is expected to receive a recall following his return from injury – proved nicely by his three goals in two games of late.
Wood will no doubt be confirmed shortly and the call up is a good opportunity for Arfield to build his fitness having missed our last three games with a calf injury.
