Burnley back to back victories over Watford and Stoke City to earn a place in the top four for a period has been recognised by the League Managers’ Association.

Following the midweek victory over Stoke City courtesy of Ashley Barnes’ late winner as we took back to back victories, registered our eighth clean sheet in the league and made it four home wins in five, the Performance of the Week award made it’s way to Turf Moor.

The five man LMA panel is made up of Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry and our performance against Stoke came top of their pile.

Despite slipping from fourth to sixth, we remain level on points with Tottenham Hotspur.

Manager Sean Dyche will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne and the club will pocket the Performance of the Week trophy.

This is the fourth time we have received this award under Dyche and the second time we have received it for this season.
