Burnley continued their impressive home form today, with a convincing 4-1 victory over third placed Watford.

The victory moves the Clarets up to 8th in the Championship, just four points behind the visitors.

Graham Branch scored his first goal for just under a year after a poor clearance by the Hornets, with John Harley adding his first for the club with a controversial second from a free kick, after Watford keeper Ben Foster was adjudged to have handled outside the area during a routine clearance.

Marlon King reduced the deficit with a fine strike from ouside the box on the hour mark.

But Burnley replied with a John Harley penalty won by Branch, and wrapped up the three points with a James O’Connor goal, giving Burnley their fifth straight home win.
