Lincoln City’s veteran defender Frank Sinclair has been given the chance to assist the club’s coaching staff in the season ahead.

Sinclair recently signed for Lincoln after being released by former Clarets gaffer, Stan Ternent at Huddersfield. The 36 year old former Clarets player will now combine playing for the Imps with his coaching duties working with manager,Peter Jackson, assistant manager,Iffy Onuora and Youth Team Coach,Grant Brown.

Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: ‘He’s got the experience and the knowledge, now he gets a little more responsibility but it’s a big step up.’
