The club have called on fans to turn out in force for the Civic Reception and Celebration Parade with promotion back to the Premier League secured.

The public celebration event has been set for Monday May 9 and it will kick off with a Civic Reception at the town hall, followed by an open top bus parade through the town centre to Turf Moor.

Manager Sean Dyche will be welcomed by Mayor of Burnley, Councillor Liz Monk at 6pm and the players and staff will be on the balcony until around 6.15pm where Alastair Campbell will then conduct interviews.

The parade to the ground will then commence, with the route starting at the corner of Grimshaw Street/Manchester Road and follow Red Lion Street/Centenary Way/Yorkshire Street and finally Harry Potts Way.

Upon arriving at Turf Moor the event will finish as the club staff have a private promotion party.

Speaking to the Official Site chairman Mike Garlick explained.

‘We are naturally delighted to be back in the Premier League and feel it is right that we share the joy of a landmark moment in our history with the people of the town. Our thanks go to Burnley Council for inviting us to a Civic reception and we look forward greatly to seeing the fans turn out in their thousands to acclaim Sean and the players for a fabulous achievement.’

The town hall car park will be closed all day, and other car parks will be effected but notices will be made so people are aware.
