One of our posters, Claretacchio has suggested a short article in which he would like some feedback from Vital Burnley users.

He writes:

Another great win this weekend against leaders Wolves and a host of winnable games coming up might suggest the Clarets are on a roll.I hadn’t realised however that Burnley have not won 3 league games in a row at any stage this season.

Now would be the perfect time to rectify that but can they do it?

Editor’s Note:

I must confess when I read that statistic about not winning 3 league games in a row yet this season, I thought I better check.

I shouldn’t of course have doubted our Tacchio!

He is absolutely right although if you count Carling Cup games we have had two sequences where we have won three games on the trot

Fulham (H)-PNE(H)-Watford(H)in September 2008

Derby (H)-Arsenal(H)-Sheffield United (A) at the end of November/Early December 2008

So what do you think? Can we now play with some consistency until the end of the season and could we after Wolves now be on track to get our first three league game victories on the trot on the board?

Coventry at Turf Moor tomorrow and Norwich at Carrow Road on Saturday are both winnable so let’s hope that consistency is maintained.
