Former Clarets assistant manager, Dave Kevan is one of two new caretaker managers to be given the role at Notts County following Ian McParland’s departure on Monday. Michael Johnson, a former County player and current youth-team manager is the other one.

Dave Kevan, now 41 joined Notts County as assistant manager in 2007. He was also a player at Meadow Lane during the 1980s and indeed played with his former boss. McParland

Director of football Sven-Goran Eriksson will be responsible for appointing the club’s new boss in due course.
