Manager Sean Dyche has held his pre Hull City press conference as Burnley gear up for the next Premier League game following the international break.

Speaking to the Official Site as he met with the press earlier today, Dyche confirmed that both new signings, Patrick Bamford and Jeff Hendrick, would come into his thoughts this weekend – but Ashley Barnes continues to be out with the niggly hamstring problem that’s kept him sidelined since the start of the new campaign.

‘Barnesy has a slight niggle and we are having to be careful with that, but everyone else is well. Jeff has literally come in on Thursday after having an up-and-and-down pre-season with coming back late from the Euros, then getting injured and then the move here. We will be looking forward to seeing how he settles into the group.’

Moving on from them two, he went on to talk about our Chelsea loanee.

‘Patrick hasn`t played as much first team football at Chelsea, but he`s been playing football nonetheless, so he is generally fit. It`s important to get them to know how we work, but they will be in the thinking. I have a team in my own mind, but they are fit and well and adapting to what we do.’

They’ll no doubt be more from Dyche in the coming hours.

Burnley have also confirmed that local Olympians Samantha Murray and Sophie Hitchon will be in attendance for the game to mark their successes the last couple of weeks out in Rio, and the club also plan on having Steven Burke and Jon Schofield with us for the Watford clash for half time acknowledgements.
