It’s being reported this evening that Everton and Burnley have agreed a fee for winger Aaron Lennon.

The BBC reported the deal a short time ago and they say a fee for the 30 year old has been agreed, but that is undisclosed.

Following the arrival of Theo Walcott the other day at Goodison Park speculation did suggest Lennon would be surplus to requirements under Sam Allardyce now and it’s believed he has now agreed personal terms at Turf Moor.

Having joined Everton from Tottenham back in 2015, he would depart with seven goals to his name in 63 appearances and the former England man has played 19 times in 2017/18.

The deal now hinges on a medical, but there’s no suggestion as to when that will take place.

A good addition to the squad for his experience. Now get Defoe in to renew their partnership, proven goalscoring. UTC
