It’s being reported this evening that a fee has now been agreed between Burnley and Leeds United for striker Chris Wood.
Burnley have been linked with the 25 year old New Zealand international since Andre Gray made his switch to Watford, and Sky Sports were reporting that a medical could in fact take place tonight, possibly at Manchester City’s Etihad campus for some reason.
Wood was of course left out of Leeds’ squad with the player himself tweeting.
So with a fee believed to be £15million now agreed, this should find itself quickly over the line.
We had reportedly already had a £12million offer turned down for the man who scored 30 goals in 48 appearances last season.
We see what tomorrow brings.
