Norwich striker Darren Huckerby could be in line for a surprise return ahead of schedule for Sunday’s Sky game against the Clarets.

The rapid striker has been out for three weeks after tearing a muscle in his groin, and was intially expected to be out for a month. However, Canaries boss Nigel Worthington will only play him if he is 100% ready.

‘He’s got to be fully-fit,’ he said. ‘You don’t want him to aggravate it and be out for another month or six weeks’ Worthington said

‘He will have to be 100 per cent fit and be 100 per cent fit in his own mind.’

Huckerby has been a constant threat to the Clarets in our games against Norwich, and will likely be a significant boost to Norwich if he wins his fitness race.
