It’s being reported this afternoon that Hull City have rejected an offer from Burnley for midfielder Sam Clucas.

Sky Sports reported this afternoon that their sources had informed them that Burnley had made a firm offer for the 26 year old who only missed on game for Hull as they were relegated from the top flight last season.

Clucas signed a new three year deal at the KCOM Stadium last August but it’s believed he would love to return to the top flight quickly.

The player is valued at around £10million but head coach Leonid Slutsky has already seen a number of players move on this summer and he wants to keep Clucas at the club.

Whether there’s a magic price remains to be seen but it’s believed Burnley’s interest is not yet over in the player.
