Burnley will be in Italy for this pre-season trip, and hope to play in two matches against Italian opposition in their time there.
It is planned Steve Cotterill’s side will play the matches on July 25 and July 28. It is hoped that Serie A side Chievo will be one of the opponents.
The Verona side will be playing in the UEFA Cup next season, after an impressive seventh placed finish, after a consistent season under Guiseppe Pillon.
The Clarets, who visited Austria last summer, will have a six-day training camp in the country as they look to charge the batteries for next season.
The second opponents are not yet known, but both games are likely to be played in and around Verona, which will make it easier for fans who wish to attend the matches.
More details will be announced on Vital Burnley, when the tour has been rubber stamped by the organisers. Keep checking the site for any announcements.
