The Football Association have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Manchester City and Burnley this Saturday.

Manchester City host Burnley on Saturday January 6 for the FA Cup Third Round tie at the Etihad Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Graham Scott
Assistant Refs: Simon Bennett and Shaun Hudson
Fourth Official: Andy Haines

Match Day referee Scott has officiated 15 games in 2017/18, showing 33 yellow cards and one red card so far.

He took in 27 games in 2016/17, with a return of 93 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count that season was in the Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers game where he showed six yellow cards. He also showed six in the game between Bristol City and Burton Albion.

He took in 20 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 79 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the game between Leeds United and Huddersfield Town in March with eight yellow cards being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
