EVER dreamed of playing for the Clarets? Well now you can! The Burnley Supporters Team are holding an open training session on Wednesday evening for all to come along to.

This is your chance to play for Burnley this season.

After an encouraging return to training on Saturday morning, the Burnley FC Supporters Team invites any fans interested in representing the team to attend the next session.

Training takes place on Wednesday evening (July 16th) at 7.15 on Lower Towneley playing fields- opposite the astro-turf facility. The team are looking to strengthen in several positions in preparation for the first full season in the IFA supporters league. To learn more about the team and the league, click here.

New players will be given the chance to stake their claim for a starting place with two friendlies lined up in the coming weeks beginning with a prestigious charity fixture against a Northern Ireland team, followed by a game against our allies at Rosegrove.

Manager Wayne McIntosh invited prospective players along, stressing that he and coach Andrew greaves will welcome anyone into the squad.

‘Any new players are welcome to attend regardless of position, fitness & ability.’
