We have 10 players out of contract in the Summer of 2010.

The players are as follows:

Robbie Blake

Stephen Jordan

Steven Caldwell

Clarke Carlisle

Brian Jensen

Graham Alexander

Joey Gudjonsson

Steven Thompson

Michael Duff

Christian Kalvenes.

Two of those players have so far indicated a wish to stay with the club, Stephen Jordan and Robbie Blake. Indeed Robbie has indicated that he would like to finish his professional playing days with the club but will Coyle be willing to give him a new contract and the chance to achieve his hopes? Do you think he should? We have a poll running on this very question on our front page so why not vote and see if you are in the majority or minority?

At the time of writing the poll was in favour of him staying but only just with 56& saying ‘yes’ compared to 44% ‘no’.

What about the other players though? You might find this is difficult to answer depending on whether we stay in the top flight or not. Some players are likely to be a god send in the Championship if we are relegated but potentially out of their depth if we stay up.

So let us know below this thread who you think should stay and who we should let go!

A secondary question could be do you think Coyle will agree with your wishes?

One thing we do know is that the players will probbaly be negotiating over the New Year with Owen Coyle and if need be are free to talk to other clubs.
