OKAY, okay. I’ll admit it. Last season I took in my fair share of Doncaster Rovers games as they looked to secure promotion to the Coca-Cola Championship, so tomorrow (Saturday), is a day I am looking forward to!

I’m not a closet Doncaster fan don’t worry, it just so happens that my brother lives in the fantastically dire town, and unfortunately supports them, so while they were ‘bossing’ the Play-Offs I was there following and cheering them on, but tomorrow there will only be one side I will be cheering on and that is the Super Clarets!

The last time Burnley played Doncaster was all the way back in 1991/1992, a season which saw the two teams play each other FIVE times. Two Fourth Division games ended with a Clarets favoured scoreline, that coupled with an F.A. Cup draw and an Associate Members Cup tie soon wracked up the numbers.

The first game of the Football Association Cup was drawn 1-1 at Turf Moor, and so into Yorkshire Burnley went for the replay between the sides two weeks later, a game in which we came out of victorious, with a 3-1 win.

So there is your match history, and my little life story of the relationship between myself and Doncaster, so onto matters that are talk of the town at the minute… Arsenal at home in the Quarter Finals of the Carling Cup!

Almost 15,000 tickets sold going into the weekend, with the James Hargreaves Upper Stand completely Sold Out. Not bad going that to say we have struggled to get over 11,000 through the turnstiles so far this season! Amazing where the, eerrmm, fans come from isn’t it?

My ticket is purchased and is safely in my wallet, but don’t worry if you are one on the ones that will miss out on a ticket, it will be shown live on SkySports, so hopefully we can put on a show like we did in the win over Chelsea and show the world who and what Burnley are about this season! Because I am fed up of the ‘Your just a midtable Championship side’ nonsense from people who haven’t seen us play a game this season.

The circling helicopter not far from my house is knocking me off my train of thought, all that noise for a fire that is ripping through factories in the middle of the town, a fire that has only required 70 firefighters… It’s a joke really, they should leave me quietly doing my blog. I’m obviously joking, but it does look an awful fire!

Au Revoir, Ciao, AdiĆ³s… It’s time to click the X in the red box in the top corner basically.
