Burnley made the trip to the Bet365 Stadium earlier today for the latest Premier League tie and we travelled back with a point following Ashley Barnes’ sixth goal in the last eight games.

Relegation-bound Stoke City opened the scoring in the eleventh minute of the first half as Badou Ndiaye found a way through, but Barnes had us level just after the hour mark.

It does mean we slip in trying to chase Arsenal down in sixth spot and with their win today over West Ham United the gap between the sides grows but remaining unbeaten does aid our European credentials this term.

A poor first half based on our standards was corrected in the second 45 minutes and Sean Dyche’s boys took charge of the affair and by fulltime we had dominated possession and chances on the day and will probably feel we should’ve taken the victory.

We continue looking up the table though and a good season continues in a fine manner.
