Turf Time – Burnley v Chelsea

|

The Premier League have revealed the team of Match Day Officials that will oversee tonight’s top flight tie between Burnley and Chelsea at Turf Moor.

Sean Dyche’s boys host The Pensioners later this evening (April 19) for the tie against Antonio Conte’s men.

Match week 34 for Burnley sees us sit two points behind Arsenal as we continue to entertain possible European hopes for 2018/19 given the sterling season we have had so far.

A season few, if anyone expected to be fair.

Chelsea find themselves in fifth place in the table on 60 points and with an eight-point gap to Tottenham Hotspur in fourth spot, they will want their game in hand on them to count.

Three points for the Claret’s would keep the pressure on Arsene Wenger’s side, but also adds a new potential equation to things. Unlikely as it may be, could we chase down Chelsea in the remaining matches of 2017/18?

One game at a time as the gaffer always says, but what do we lose out on if we have that as a possible aim?

Having seen off Leicester’s European hopes, a two horse race for sixth place with Arsenal is still more than anyone anticipated as the season opened and that shouldn’t be forgotten.

The match is set for a 7.45pm kick-off and these are the folks in charge.

Referee: Bobby Madley
Assistant Refs: Marc Perry and Adrian Holmes
Fourth Official: Anthony Taylor
