The Premier League have revealed the team of Match Day Officials that will oversee the upcoming top-flight tie between Stoke City and Burnley at the Bet365 Stadium.
Sean Dyche’s boys travel to the Potters this coming Sunday (April 22) for the tie against Paul Lambert’s side and at this late stage of the season they continue to battle against relegation as they sit five points shy of safety – they have however played one more game than Swansea City in 17th place so they do face an incredibly tough challenge to avoid the drop.
Burnley are of course targeting a European adventure following a season which hardly anyone anticipated and another three points would go a long way to completing the chase we are in with Arsenal for sixth place. Having stunted Leicester City’s hopes, it’s a battle between Dyche and Arsene Wenger now so hopefully we’ll get back to winning ways following Thursday loss to Chelsea.
Confidence in the group doesn’t guarantee anything but it should certainly play in our favour.
The match is set for a 1.30pm kickoff and these are the folks in charge.
Referee: Mike Dean
Assistant Refs: Ian Hussin and Mark Scholes
