WTBM… continues its look at the last 20 years (or so)`s worth of BFC home shirts.

This time, it`s the turn of the 2002-3 shirt, made by TFG and sponsored by Lanway Computers.

This was the season we finished in 16th place, on 55 points, starting with a 3-1 home defeat to Brighton, with a 90th minute Lee Briscoe goal – remember him?! We had Dimi Papadopoulous as our Greek “hero”, who Stan described a s “a giant” – desite only being about 5’10”!

We lost 6-5 at Grimsby, which was pretty bad, but not as bad as 7-4, 7-2, 6-2 and 5-2 – all at home! We ended the season with a 2-1 reversal to Wimbledon, in what should have been their last ever at Selhurst Park, but wasn`t. This was no shock, as we lost 10 of the last 13 fixtures!

We also beat Blackpool, Huddersfield and Spurs in the League Cup, before going out to Manchester United 2-0. This was also the season we reached the FA Cup quarter final, succumbing in a rather limp fashion to Watford, 2-0.

What we want from you is the following:

Marks out of 10:
Positives (about the shirt):.
Negatives (ditto):
Memories (of BFC in this shirt):

Please look for the thread in the WTBM… section of the forums, and add your comments and musings there.

Thanks!
