The Clarets will play Manchester City away in the semi-final of the Under 21s Premier League Cup on the night of Tuesday April 1st with the game kicking off at 7pm. It was originally going to be played on Hyde FC’s ground at Ewen Fields but will now take place at Leigh Sports Village.
Burnley have progressed to this stage after defeating Wigan Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, Sunderland, Bolton Wanderers and Exeter City in earlier rounds on the way to the semi finals.
If they manage to defeat Manchester City, certainly no easy task, they will play either Arsenal or Reading in the final.
