Burnley had to be content with a one-one draw with Brighton in the Championship on Sunday with the Clarets returning to action following the international break.

All the action, as far as the goals went, came in the opening five-minutes with Brighton fastest out of the traps and ahead inside of a minute! Zamora was able to bundle the ball over the line to give the Seagulls the lead on 58-seconds.

When Brighton defender Dunk was a little too keen to swap shirts with Keane, before the end, this brought Burnley a penalty a couple of minutes later! Gray made no mistake with this as he converted his 11th-goal of the season to bring the Clarets level.

That’s how it ended!

Following this Burnley are in fifth place but only two-points adrift of Championship leaders Hull in a congested table after a weekend where few in the top half a dozen or so won with Middlesbrough and Derby the main beneficiaries of this up to third and fourth, respectively.
