We asked Akela, the editor of Vital Wolves a few questions about our up-and-coming game at Molineux this Sunday and here were his responses:

1. What do Wolves fans think of Mick McCarthy’s decision to ‘chuck one in’ at Old Trafford and field a weakened side?

Initially I was annoyed at the lack of respect it towards the travelling supporters, but my anger quickly moved away from McCarthy towards the media and other teams supporters who seemed to think we`d done the worst thing in the history of football.

Every other team rotates its squad. Manchester United and Liverpool have both made 9 changes to the squads before ahead of Champions League games, tactically I see no difference between their actions and our own.

2. Which Clarets player{s} would you dearly love to be playing in Old Gold?

Fletcher and Elliott have caught my eye. I expected Fletcher to score goals following his record in the SPL and he seems to have adapted quite quickly, while Elliott seems to score a fair few from midfield.

3. What are your impressions of the Clarets this season?

Your home form is fantastic and even though you don’t find results as easily away, that will probably still be enough to see you safe.

4. Where do you think we will finish and can we avoid relegation?

Bottom half of the league but above the relegation places I feel.

5. What do your fans think about Wolves performance so far this season? Disappointed or happy with your position? Were you expecting more at this stage?

I`ve been disappointed and delighted at different stages so far this season! We’ve lost games I`ve expected to win and won games I`ve expected to lose! We need to be a little bit more consistent and if we get a result against you to build on our two wins prior to the United game I`ll be confident we’re heading in the right direction.

6. Do you think you can avoid the drop and where do you think you will finish?

I think we can, it will be close and will probably be decided over the last few games of the season, but overall I think we can survive.

7. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What areas could the Clarets exploit?

Areas to exploit? Give Milijas plenty of time on the ball, allow him to deliver into the area, preferably leaving Doyle unmarked in the box. That would be a great tactic.

8. Who will win the Prem and who relegated?

Manchester United will win the league. Portsmouth, Bolton and Hull will be relegated.

9. Owt else you want to say?

Good luck for the remainder of the season, after our game of course!
