The lead could have been lost by Manchester City by the time they face Southampton on Sunday, which Pep Guardiola’s side would be looking to take back at the Etihad Stadium – assuming that is lost?

Arsenal will be looking for an eighth straight win when Middlesbrough visit the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, which assuming this does come would take the Gunners to the summit for 24-hours at least.

Home matches are likely to be key to Burnley’s chances of staying in the Premier League with the Clarets back at Turf Moor with Everton visiting with the Toffees likewise seeing this as a match with a good chance to get three-points.

Another two sides that will look at the fixtures this weekend and think the points are needed from the match at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday are Hull and Stoke, as the home side City will sense a need to react to a six-one defeat to Bournemouth with the Potters winning for a first time in the last match so back-to-back victories will be sought.

The Champions League has been great for Leicester, they’ve won three from three in that tournament but can’t string anything together in the Premier League with the Foxes hosting Crystal Palace with Alan Pardew looking for a Palace reaction to the West Ham defeat.

Bob Bradley started his spell with Swansea with a defeat at Arsenal with his first home match seeing Watford hoping to ensure he’ll not win this one either with the Hornets looking to add to the win at Middlesbrough with a win at the Liberty Stadium.

After ending the winless run West Ham aren’t going to want to become the first side beaten by Sunderland when they go to the Olympic Stadium with West Brom hoping shock Liverpool after being within a minute of beating Tottenham in the last match.

With the last match of this rounds matches seeing Jose Mourinho return to his former club when Manchester United go to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Sunday.

We can say it goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result.

But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough!

Ahead of the match we’re looking for your views on what way you do think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll in one of the options you’re given.
