Cardiff were in control in the opening exchanges with recent arrival Watt going close with Burnley ‘keeper Heaton, against his former, making saves to deny the Bluebirds the lead.

The best chances for the Clarets went to Boyd with a goal line clearance from Cardiff defender Connolly denying him with another effort deflected over before the home side broke through when Gunnarsson (41) headed home ahead of half time.

Morrison (64) doubled the lead in the second half when he headed home with Burnley seemingly on for defeat before a late Hennings (85), who had come off the bench, goal got them back into the game.

An unlikely point was secured when Keane’s headed was put into his own net by Connolly (90) in injury-time to see the Clarets come away with a point!

You missed Hennings off the poll…

We were better than Wolves away, but still not quite in it. At least we had a couple of de end chances before the finale. We need to start winning again and working out different ways to create chances. As soon as Dean Marney came on that began to happen, so we need him back ASAP. Thing is, who drops out?

Definitely a point gained whilst not playing well.Well done to Hennings but need Vokesy back.Great to see Deano back…we will need him over the rest of the championship. We are still not playing to our full potential but i feel that will come.I would start with Jonah & Barton at moment MM with Deano in reserve as i feel he is not up to full match at moment. That WILL change and it will be interesting to see what will happen…its a great problem to have.Preston up next…lets have a great December…plenty of goals & move up the table. We are well in it & should fear no one with the squad we have..hopefully there will be more additions.UTC
