The Premier League season continued with a reduced round of games played over the weekend.

A reduced schedule – due to the FA Cup – saw the major impact at the bottom of the Premier League with Hull’s win over Swansea boosting their survival hopes.

Here’s a round up of the Premier League action from the other games.

Saturday 11th March 2017 – PREMIER LEAGUE
Bournemouth 3-2 West Ham United 15:00
Everton 3-0 West Bromwich Albion 15:00
Hull City 2-1 Swansea City 15:00

Sunday 12th March 2017 – PREMIER LEAGUE
Liverpool 2-1 Burnley 16:00

Despite missing two first half penalties a Joshua King hat trick – he was also one who missed a penalty – Bournemouth secured a late 3-2 win over West Ham. The Cherries’ first win in nine eased relegation fears with the Hammers – who have lost the last two – now four without a win.

Everton reacted to a defeat against Tottenham with a comfortable 3-0 win over West Brom to all but secure a finish now lower than seventh. The Toffees are now only two points behind sixth placed – despite conceding two games in hand – Manchester United too. Albion remain in eighth despite suffering a second successive defeat.

A first win in four for Hull was collected after a 2-1 victory over relegation rivals Swansea. The Tigers are now just a place and a point from safety with the Swans in 16th but only three points clear of the relegation zone now.

Burnley’s bid for a first away win in the Premier League this season goes on after the Clarets lost a lead at Liverpool. The Reds recovered from an early setback to win 2-1 at Anfield and keep Champions League qualification on track
