The Burnley bid to sign Robert Snodgrass could be derailed by West Ham as an offer matching ours – reportedly £10m – has been accepted by Hull according to Sky Sports.

Middlesbrough are also interested in Snodgrass but it’s claimed a bid of a similar nature to Burnley’s and West Ham’s is structured differently and hasn’t been accepted.

Assuming the Sky sources are correct with both Burnley and West Ham’s offers – the Hammers have already had two bids turned down – accepted by Hull it will be down to Snodgrass to decided which club he wants to sign for.

When the Clarets had an offer accepted for the 29 year old Scottish international it was claimed his transfer to Turf Moor was down to him. The Hammers’ acceptable bid could scupper Sean Dyche’s hopes of securing Snodgrass?

It isn’t just Sky Sports reporting this rival bid as the BBC has also said ‘West Ham and Burnley will compete for the signing’ of Hull’s top goalscorer.
