News about the forthcoming issue from editor Barnsey…

WTBM…79 will be hitting the shelves (and streets) in time for Burnley’s Boxing Day game against the Trotters. We’re not sure what Del Boy and Rodney would make of it, but we think they would say, ‘Cushty, mange tout, bonnet de douche, mon brave!’ or something similar.

52 pages in length, and at just £1.50, WTBM… represents a must-read for the discerning Burnley fan.

Included in this issue are: match reviews from West ‘Am and Pompeii; some interesting branding opportunities as yet unexplored by the Burnley Club Shop; a review of 2009 (part one); marks out of 10 for the players so far this season; some Christmas cheer; thoughts on the varying seating standards around the PL; OC’s motivational style, oh, and some quotes from the legend that is Kevin Keegan.

Sounds too good to be true? Well, it probably should be, but it isn’t! On sale outside the Turf and at the Culvert Newsagents on Boxing Day.

UTC!

  • Not judging by the amount of people in Tesco this morning it hasn’t CP. Some troLleys stacked full of food and is difficult to believe that the shops are only closed for one day. Me and Mrs Rickers Twickers managed to get round without arguing about festive purchases too – a first I think. Whole trip was quite easy until someone, once again, mistook my Claret and Blue hat for a West ‘ Am version. Looking forward to issue 79 but fingers crossed the Trotters game will be on.

  • Can someone please purchase from me? My sales were very disapointing last month and I am starting to get the feeling that I am deemed to ugly to buy from 🙁

  • Can’t have your commission dropping at Christmas Dale – what ? you don’t get any ? Let me know where you are and I’ll try and steer some regular readers in your direction. No need to arrange extra supplies though as my party will include my mum, brother and sister-in-law and usually only one of them dips his hand in his pocket to buy WTBM !! [Edited by ford]

  • ..and that would include that ruddy big Christmas hat too, especially if there is someone only 6ft 3 behind you! 😉 [Edited by turfmanphil]
