Will it all UnCoyle for the Judas Snake?

It’s the last day of the Premier League season today (Sunday) and all Clarets fans will be wondering if this is the day for Owen Coyle’s comeuppance.

All Clarets fans will no doubt be hoping that Owen Coyle and his Bolton team fail miserably away to Stoke City this Sunday on the last day of the Premier League season.

Is Judas about to be punished? Are Bolton about to return to the Championship, relegated with mounting debts and an uncertain future?

Bolton’s task is simple (not!)! They have to win to stay up. Anything else and the result between Manchester City and QPR at the Etihad becomes irrelevant. QPR are currently above Bolton in 4th from bottom spot with two points more.

Can QPR draw away to probable League Champions, Manchester City today? That’s all they realistically need to guarantee survival since they already have a nine goal advantage over Bolton in terms of goal difference.

It is almost a sideline now for Burnley fans with the crucial Bolton game about to kick-off at 3pm but who is going to be top and crowned Premier League Champions after todays games?

Well I can confidently predict (cough!) it will be one of the Manchester clubs!

The City side of the City though look to have the advantage over their United counterparts!

Both clubs are on 86 points but Roberto Mancini’s men have an 8 goal advantage in terms of goal difference over Sir Alex’s mob. City might only need a point to be crowned Premier League Champions and indeed in the unlikely event both clubs lose, City will still lift the trophy unless their is some weird rugby scores involved. What a game though it will be for City today at home against relegation threatened QPR!

The task for United is simple, they have to beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and hope that City slip up although they could still be crowned Champions if they draw and somehow City lose.

What a day this is going to be! Post your thoughts before during and after the afternoon’s action below this thread
