Norwich manager Nigel Worthington has been sacked, following today’s home defeat to the Clarets.

Steve Cotterill’s side completely bossed a Norwich side on their own turf, and after a recent poor run after a good start to the season, Worthington has been shown the door.

As we go into the international break, Burnley are sitting pretty at third in the table, but the next two weeks could be the biggest of our season, with two big managerial vacancies in the division, with West Brom added to the vacancy at Carrow Road.

Reports are already linking Steve Cotterill with the WBA job, and it seems a simple equation that he will now be linked with the Norwich job after our blossoming start to the season.

The next two weeks will no doubt make interesting viewing, as these former Premiership outfits scramble to appoint a boss with the capabilities to take them back there.
