Alex Kacaniklic has been recalled by his parent club, Fulham due to an injury crisis at Craven Cottage. Fulham gaffer Martin Jol could be tempted to name the 21 year old Swedish international for the home game against Arsenal this weekend..
Kacaniklic made six starts for Burnley after joining on loan at the beginning of March. He made a good. solid start on his debut away to Charlton the day after joining the club but has since struggled to make an impression.
The decision by Jol comes at a bad time for the Clarets with three games of the season left to play and the club suddenly embroiled in a relegation dogfight . They have already cruelly lost the services of key striker, Charlie Austin following his appendix operation on Tuesday morning. Our options have been reduced even more now and it looks like Keith Treacy could be thrust into the limelight for the last three games of 2012-13. he will most probably be named on the bench with a strong chance of coming on should Wallace or Stanislas become injured.
