GRAHAM Branch has this morning officially signed for UniBond League Premier Division newcomers Cammell Laird, following his release from Accrington Stanley last season.

Branch, a Burnley legend, signed for Stanley at the beginning of the 2007/08 season following his release from Turf Moor, but after an unsucessful season at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, boss John Coleman opted against offering him a new deal.

The 36-year-old Graham Branch, who has over four hundred professional appearances against his name joins Laird on a one-year rolling contract.

Steve Cotterill the then Burnley gaffer handed Branch the opportunity to have a testimonial match at Turf Moor before he departed the Turf after over eight years, where he notched up over 250 appearances in the famous Claret and Blue.

Vital Burnley would like to wish Branchy the best of luck with his new club.
