All Clarets will be eagerly awaiting news of the Carling Cup 4th Round draw on Sky Sports this Saturday. The draw will be made live on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday at about 12:15 pm and we will know our fate by the time Burnley come out onto the pitch the same day for our Championship clash against Bristol City at Turf Moor (Kick-Off 3pm)

Burnley are of course in the last sixteen after beating Owen Coyle`s Bolton Wanderers 1-0 in the third round game at Turf Moor on Tuesday night. A Premier League scalp it certainly was but one that also gave so much additional pleasure in view of the Judas saga.

So who do you want this time? There has certainly been some high-profile casualties this week with Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton and Liverpool all getting knocked out, Liverpool of course on penalties by League Two, club, Northampton Town at Anfield! Some Clarets fans may well have hoped that Blackburn could have survived and been pitted against us. We have defeated both Preston and Bolton so far this season so adding Blackburn would have completed the trilogy! Sadly that will not be possible now with Aston Villa having other ideas and coming from behind to beat Blackburn 3-1 at Villa Park in midweek. We certainly will never forget this competition in our promotion year of 2008-9 after narrowly being defeated by Spurs over two legs in the semi-final but any thoughts of revenge over Tottenham Hotspur will have to be put on hold after they were heavily defeated by local rivals, Arsenal 4-1 in the London derby this week. One team we probably won`t want to play is Arsenal themselves; let`s face it we have seen rather a lot of them in cup competitions over recent seasons and it would nice to play someone different!

The full list of teams in the hat and their ball numbers to look out for are:

01 Arsenal
02 Aston Villa
03 Birmingham
04 Brentford
05 Burnley
06 Ipswich
07 Leicester
08 Man United
09 Newcastle
10 Northampton
11 Swansea
12 Stoke
13 West Brom
14 West Ham
15 Wigan
16 Wolves

The fourth round matches will be played week commencing 25th October
