19 year old striker, Danny Ings looks set to be joining Burnley from Bournemouth after the two clubs today agreed an undisclosed fee. Reports suggest a £1 million fee could be involved.

Ings will travel to Burnley on Monday to discuss personal terms and if the deal is finalised he will become Eddie Howe’s third permanent signing of the summer.

Howe of course is familiar with Ings having been his boss at Dean Court and indeed he nurtured the player seeing him come through the Cherries youth system.

Ings impressed during a loan spell at local non-league club, Dorchester Town before making his league debut for the Cherries at Milton Keynes Dons in December 2010.

He finally established himself at Dean Court last season scoring 8 goals in 28 appearances.

The striker is also quite versatile and can also play a midfield role if required.
