Burnley will play Arsenal at Turf Moor in the Quarter Final of the Carling Cup
Clarets fans might be disappointed we didn’t get a Manchester United or Blackburn who draw each other at Old Trafford. A local tie of this ilk could have been a great money spinner but we cant complain
19% in a recent Vital Burnley Poll wanted the Clarets to play Arsenal, the third highest behind Blackburn (28%) and Manchester United (22%)

It was only last January that Arsenal were the visitors to Turf Moor in the FA Cup 3rd Round. We went down 2-0 and Lafferty was sent off but we earned a lot of respect from that game and Arsene Wenger will not be relishing another hike up north with the Clarets now in even better form having just despatched arguably the best team in Europe on their own soil.
Can we beat yet another of the Top 3 Premier League clubs?
We shall find out in the first week of December when all the ties will be played
