Burnley will play their FA Youth Cup fourth-round tie at Manchester City`s Etihad Stadium. Terry Pashley`s youth team will play in the home of of the Premier League champions this coming Thursday night (kick-off 7pm).

The fixture had to be switched to the Etihad because the original venue at Stockport County`s Edgeley Park was considered unfit due to a spate of games on the pitch. Hyde United’s ground also appeared to be out of contention.

The Clarets youth team reached the fourth round after beating the red side of Manchester in a sensational game at Old Trafford. United, ten-times winners of the Youth Cup, were shocked after losing 4-3 to the Clarets in extra-time.

Can Burnley go on to beat the blue side of Manchester? It’s a tough call but what a great thrill for the lads to play in one of England’s most prestigious stadiums!
