It is now clear that Burnley hope to sign AS Monaco striker,Frédéric Nimani on loan until the end of the season with Brian Laws confirming the 21 year old is currently training with the squad at Turf Moor.
The Daily Mail jumped the gun this morning stating a deal had already been agreed but this is not quite the situation with Burnley now hoping to complete the transfer within the next 24 hours.
Laws speaking to the Official Site said:
‘Quite clearly there is a huge interest and we are trying to do something within the next 24 hours.However, until he signs he is not our player and there’s not much more we can discuss.We want to try to strengthen the team and while I am prioritising other areas, if there’s an opportunity we can’t miss then we will nip in’
