Rochdale have signed 21-year-old winger George Porter on a deal until the end of the season after his release from Burnley by mutual consent.
Porter spent the first half of this season on loan at Dale’s League Two rivals AFC Wimbledon but could not find the back of the net in 24 appearances.
He joined Burnley in 2012 after a two-year spell with Leyton Orient but failed to make his debut for the Clarets. He also made 19 appearances for League One side Colchester United last season scoring one goal.
