According to media sources in Italy, Burnley could be about to bring AC Milan striker, Giampaolo Pazzini to Turf Moor. La Gazzetta dello Sport believes Burnley have already sent an offer to the Rossoneri on Saturday for the 30-year-old forward. The player has made just five substitute appearances in Serie A this season clearly failing to impress AC Milan manager, Filippo Inzaghi. It would appear his future at the club is in doubt having been linked with moves away from the Stadio Guiseppe Meazza following reports that Sampdoria and Fiorentina also have the striker on their radars.

The Italian international joined AC Milan from Internazionale in August 2012 in exchange for Antonio Cassano. He previously played for Atalanta, Fiorentina and Sampdoria. He certainly impressed at Sampdoria scoring 36 goals in 75 appearances but his rate has declined since then. Pazzini has only managed 17 goals in 51 appearances for AC Milan and it now looks like his days at the club are numbered. Mind you in his first season at Milan he scored 15 Serie A goals in 30 appearances!!

Since the player has so far spent his entire footballing career in his native Italy, the prospects of him moving to the UK seem a little doubtful at his age but stranger things have happened!
