Sean Dyche is once again for the second time in succession up for the SkyBet Championship manager of the month award and this time looks set to win with Burnley top of the Championship and unbeaten in all four league games played in September after picking up ten points from a maximum of twelve. Dyche will be up against Millwall`s Steve Lomas, Leicester City`s Nigel Pearson and Watford`s Gianfranco Zola.
Meanwhile Burnley defender and captain Jason Shackell has also been short-listed for the Championship player of the month award along with QPR goalkeeper Robert Green, Reading midfielder Danny Guthrie and Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick.
Shackell has beena stalwart in the Burnley defence this month contributing to two clean sheets in a month which also saw the Clarets concede on just two occasions.
The winners will be announced at 6 a.m. on Friday.
