The club have provided Vital Burnley with details of the special arrangements for the big derby day fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Turf Moor as follows:

BURNLEY v BLACKBURN ROVERS-Sunday, March 28 (12pm)

Burnley Football Club would respectfully like to advise supporters of the following special arrangements for this fixture, which kicks off at 12pm.

These have been agreed following a series of meetings between senior officials from the two clubs, Lancashire Constabulary and representatives from the Clarets Trust, acting in the interest of Burnley supporters.

We would ask that all supporters understand these arrangements have been made for the safety and security of everyone attending the game at Turf Moor, which is our primary concern.

We sincerely hope these arrangements will not adversely affect your enjoyment of the day and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Turnstiles

Turnstiles at Turf Moor will open for Blackburn Rovers fans at 9.30am and for Burnley supporters at 10.30am.

Blackburn Rovers supporters will be transported to the ground in coaches and all visiting fans will be taken to a point directly adjacent to the turnstiles, and from there immediately into the stadium. Police cordons will be in place to ensure fans` safety.

We strongly advise all supporters to arrive at Turf Moor early for this fixture, and remind supporters of the clocks being moved forward one hour during Saturday night.

Please note there will be no cash turnstiles available on the day.

Refreshment kiosks inside the ground will all be open upon the opening of the turnstiles in relevant areas.

Post-match

After the game, an area of Harry Potts Way and Belvedere Road has been secured to park all coaches for Blackburn Rovers fans.

This means that all Burnley supporters will face minor detours away from Turf Moor, as indicated via the arrowed routes on the map below:

Burnley fans in the James Hargreaves and Jimmy McIlroy Stands will be able to exit via either Belvedere Road (adjacent to cricket pitch) or Harry Potts Way. Burnley fans in the Bob Lord Stand will have to exit left upon leaving the stadium.

Car Parking

Car parks can be accessed as usual ahead of the game.

Normal matchday street parking applies, with the exception of Higgins Street, which will be a no-parking zone for the safety and access of pedestrians.

Disabled supporters can use their usual car parking spaces.

Burnley supporters who frequent the car park on Harry Potts Way will not be able to return to their cars until all visiting coaches have left the area.

These supporters are invited to attend the Foundation Lounge, situated in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand post-match for comfort and convenience until such a time as the coaches have departed.

The Foundation Lounge will also be open as normal to members after the game.

Licensed Premises

All licensed premises around Turf Moor and in Burnley will be open as per normal licensing hours.

In closing, all parties have worked together in order to minimise disruption to all supporters and again, we apologise for any minor inconveniences these arrangements cause.

Please enjoy the game:
