Support the Charity Bike Ride

Tony Crawford has contacted Vital Burnley about a Charity Bike Ride related to Burnley FC and we ask our readers and posters to support this worthy cause



Tony (pictured above with his bike) writes:

For the past 6 years, I have taken part in a charity cycle ride covering various distances and countries, with all of them relating to Burnley Football Club. A group of 24 cyclists of varying abilities, ages etc will set off on Sunday 2nd May from Fratton Park, Portsmouth Football Club and visit every English Premier League ground finishing at the Stadium of Light home of Sunderland AFC on the 8th May.This means that all cyclists will complete an approximate total of 680 miles in just 7 days.

All the proceeds that I raise will be donated to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, this particular charity is very important to me as a close friend was diagnosed with this illness and has since been successfully treated and recovered.

Once you donate, they`ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

All donations are greatly appreciated and will spur me on when the going gets tough.
