The draw for the third round of the Capital One Cup was made yesterday and Burnley will now travel to League One, Swindon after seeing off Plymouth 3-2 on penalties in the second round at Turf Moor. The match will be played at the County Ground the week commencing September 24.
This will certainly be a tougher challenge for the Clarets. Swindon, promoted as Champions from League Two last season despatched Premier League, Stoke City in their second round tie. In a pulsating match played in the Britannia Stadium, James Collins scored a hat-trick for the Robins with the final score finishing 4-3 after extra time.
