Burnley have another new face in their squad but still await their first permanent signing of the summer. Full back,Kieran Trippier has arrived today on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

The Bury-born 20 year old is already an England Under 21 international but has still to make his City debut.

Trippier made a one month loan move to Barnsley in February 2010 and then returned to Oakwell for a second spell on loan in August 2010 before extending this to a loan until the end of the season in January 2011.

He is widely expected to take over the right back position recently vacated by Tyrone Mears and will play with his City team mate Ben Mee in the back four. Trippier will feature tonight in the friendly against Oldham at Boundary Park.
